I didn’t really have any solution to completely remove the adobe reader from my machine and use preview for my work. I was a victim for this for a very long time. It doesn’t let even preview to handle it which is really a pain in the ass. This is because when you uninstall the adobe reader from your system, you won’t be allowed to view the pdf files on safari. The Mac native application, The Preview is one of the best and I feel that is more smooth and awesome than the adobe reader.Īnyhow, people like me install the adobe reader and get stuck with it for a long time. It blocks and asks you to click trust whenever you want to view or open a pdf in the browser which is very annoying.
It is rather very slow and the performance sucks. Firstly, if you are using a mac, I don’t think there is any need of adobe reader.
